That which is most universal is most personal, indeed there is nothing human which is strange to us.

Regeneration... not repair...

Did you know that healing can take one of two forms?
Regeneration (in which cells replace themselves with the same kind as were originally there)
and Repair (in which injured tissue is replaced with scar tissue)

So people, the war rages on, but I am comforted by healing... the regeneration kind. I've got no time or place for scar tissue.

What I have needed is the security of knowing that I am safe and still in the quiet of His lap while the rest of the world in its tumult shudders on.

Here is a song that reminds me of just that, I'm sure you're familiar with it:
He is my shepherd, there is nothing I lack.
He lets me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He renews my life.
He leads me along the right paths for His name's sake.
Even when I go through the darkest valley I fear no danger for He is with me.
His rod and staff, they comfort me.
He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
He anoints my head with oil and my cup overflows.
Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in His house forever.

So I was knocked off my feet but am up again. Thanks for your thoughts.

He has promised to bring the good work that He started in you to completion...
And He's more committed to that than you are.

Are they looking out or in?
